Animal Birth Control President Judy May is pleased to announce that she received a grant in the amount of $1,500.00 from the Miccio Foundation. This generous grant allowed Animal Birth Control, which is a non profit organization located in Clinton, to financially assist people in the spay or neuter of 30 cats/kittens in a two month period.

Animal Birth Control would like to thank the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (“ASPCA”) for their generous grant
of $2,500 to help spay/neuter cats and dogs. With the support of ASPCA, Animal Birth Control is able to spay/neuter 50 or more animals!!

ABC’s mission is to reduce the number of unwanted pets in our area by preventing unwanted births. By promoting sterilization and by offering financial assistance to pet owners to off set the high cost of
these surgeries; ABC has made a significant difference in the pet overpopulation problem. But so much more needs to be done.

ABC was started one dollar at a time, and even today the "small" donations add up to so very much.  The donations made by our "Diamonds in the rough" have easily prevented thousands of animals from being born unwanted.  Thanks to all.
